TABS unites Triangle Area balloon enthusiasts into a social and educational group. TABS strives to promote ballooning saftey, good landowner relations, public education about this unique aircraft, and provide a channel for fellowship and fun. Ballooning is a family-oriented, fun activity. Tabs provides an opportunity to expand your interest with others and learn more about the sport. Programs on weather, crewing, and current & new developments in ballooning and recent ballooning accomplishments are a part of TABS as well as family picnics, multiple balloon flights, and other sharing experiences. Whether you want to be part of a balloon crew or just enjoy watching balloons occasionally and would like to share this interest, TABS welcomes you to be a part of a light-hearted group of friends.
