Balloon Fest 95
238 acre nature park is the site of
Balloon Fest 95 on August 18, 19 and 20
in Centralia, IL USA. Only one of its kind
since it is totally alcholol free and
designed for families. Special shapes
include Energizer Bunny at 160' tall,
United Van Lines balloon as well as others.
Centralia is home to "Arky", one of the
country's newest and most exciting hot
air balloons. 46 balloons are expected this year.
100 crafters, entertainment including Atlanta Rhythm
Section, food to fit any taste, childrens
games, cardboard boat races - one for
pilots only. The glow on Saturday night is fabulous as
the colors relfect in the lake. Truly
a photographers delight!
