Southpower Gas New Zealand Winter International Balloon Festival

We have about 28 balloons and 35 pilots coming. The snow has been falling on the Alpes and they look great. We fly over the plains with the snow covered Southern Aples on one side and the Ocean on the other. The people around here are great about ballooning. Christchurch has a pop of 100,000. Next year we have some big plans to run it along side the Australian 10th Nationals (heres hoping).

Update: 27 June 1995 from Bruce: Our Festival is coming alog well for July 20-24. We have approx 28-30 balloons coming along and a few spare pilots. It's been snowing on the Alps and we are planing a flight from a Ski Field. We have great views from the skies above Christchurch with the snow covered alpes on one side and the ocean on the other with the Canterbury plains in between for great landing.
