Connection:

• Question: I try to link to Ballooning Online! and no connection is established, or it connects, but the link is extremely slow and I get a time-out.

  Explanation: My experience to date suggest that this is usally a temporary problem with the SunSITE server.

  What to do: Wait for a while and try again. If it is early morning EST, you might have to wait until later in the day (EST).

Mailbox functions:

• Question: Sometimes, when I try to submit information using one of the mailbox pages, I get an error stating that no error address has been specified. Why is that, and how can I get it to work?

  Explanation: I use a tool called "mailto.pl" to process the mailbox forms. It requires an internet address to which error information is sent should the form processing fail. I set up the form properly to supply this, but every so often, some of you have gotten the error anyway.

  What to do: See that black dot () just to the RIGHT of my address (eric@nando.net)? It is the secret error dot. Click on it and then try to submit again. It should work. Why it makes a difference - I don't know.

• Question: I try to submit from a mailbox page and it never comes back! I have to break out of it. Why?

  Explanation: The mail server at SunSITE is probably having problems.

  What to do: Wait for a day or two and try again.
